commercial wallcovering installation, by design
Built to Impress
The overall design vision for the new American Southwest Credit Union (ASCU) branch in Thatcher was clean, modern, and professional, aligning perfectly with a financial institution's need for a polished and welcoming environment. Rather than relying on flat paint in high-visibility areas, the design team specified premium wallcoverings to introduce subtle texture and movement. The goal was to add architectural depth without overwhelming the space, elevating the interiors while maintaining a calm, refined aesthetic. Executing this vision required a specialized commercial wallcovering contractor capable of mobilizing for a travel job and delivering precision within a strict timeframe.
financial institution interior finishes
Valley Paint was contracted by LaMacchia Group to complete the wallcovering scope for the new construction project. The installation focused on the bank lobby and the public restrooms, ensuring the highest-traffic areas received durable finishes.
Why These Products Matter
The project utilized Type II vinyl wallcoverings from Momentum Textiles — specifically Pallas Sediment (AVF27-179) and Pallas Sand Dune (AVF27-128). These commercial-grade materials feature a subtle, textured design that adds visual interest while remaining understated. Rather than bold or loud patterns, these materials create a sophisticated backdrop that complements the credit union's professional brand image. The soft variation in tone and texture breaks up flat wall surfaces, giving the space a more elevated and finished look while providing durability. Before installation, our team properly prepped and primed all wall surfaces using Roman's wallcovering primer for a lasting finish.

precision under a tight timeline
Zero Margin.
The challenge of this project was simple: execute a flawless installation in a single day. Valley Paint mobilized our team to Thatcher, Arizona with one directive — complete the entire wallcovering scope without a return visit. That required precise planning, exact material readiness, and rapid execution with zero margin for error. Misaligned seams or improper adhesion would mean rework we didn't have time for. Maintaining pattern integrity across the lobby walls and achieving clean, uniform cuts in the tighter restroom spaces demanded the same level of care as any large-scale project — just compressed into a fraction of the time. Through coordination with LaMacchia Group and other active trades, we worked around site conditions and delivered on schedule.
"The finished spaces reflect a clean, modern aesthetic with added depth and texture. The project was completed with minimal issues, reflecting a high level of workmanship and reliability."
