corporate office wallcovering, by design
for Precision
The design vision for the new Fender corporate office centered on creating a modern, functional workspace with a careful balance of texture, tone, and subtle contrast. To achieve this, the architectural plan moved away from flat painted walls, relying instead on a highly curated selection of premium wallcoverings and architectural films.
The design called for a unified blend of soft, linear textures to establish a calm baseline, punctuated by bold digital prints to energize collaborative zones. Executing this multi-material finish schedule across a large-scale new construction environment required a specialized commercial wallcovering contractor capable of delivering absolute precision across highly varied surfaces.
One Standard.
Designtex ribbed wallcovering, custom digital prints, and 3M DI-NOC architectural film — all installed to a single, uncompromising standard of quality.
multi-material architectural finishes
Valley Paint was contracted by Extreme Drywall Concepts to execute the complete wallcovering scope for the new Fender headquarters. The installation spanned the entire facility, including focus rooms, huddle spaces, large conference rooms, and high-traffic corridors.
Why These Products Matter
The project featured a diverse portfolio of owner-furnished materials, each requiring specific handling. Our specialists installed Designtex Wannabe Rib (in Gull and Slate) to provide a soft, linear texture that catches light dynamically without overpowering the space. In key feature areas, we installed custom Designtex Digital Studio purple wallcoverings to introduce a bold, branded energy. To bring a natural, grounded feel to the architectural elements, we applied 3M DI-NOC Earth/Stone Matte finishes, delivering a realistic, high-end stone look with extreme commercial durability. Prior to installation, all wall surfaces — including specialized homosote panels — were prepped and sealed with Gardz wallcovering primer to ensure optimal, long-lasting adhesion.

Every Surface.
Ribbed seam alignment, 3M DI-NOC film application, and homosote panel prep — all coordinated across multiple floors of an active construction site.
precision across diverse materials
at Scale
The primary technical challenge of this installation was managing the strict pattern alignment and varied application requirements across multiple premium materials. The ribbed Designtex wallcovering required flawless seam alignment to maintain a continuous, uniform flow across long corridor walls. The 3M DI-NOC architectural film demanded meticulous surface preparation and highly specialized application techniques to achieve a smooth, bubble-free finish that authentically mimics natural stone.
Working across multiple floors and room types within an active new construction site also required rigorous sequencing. Valley Paint coordinated closely with Layton Construction and Extreme Drywall Concepts to ensure all substrates were properly prepared and accessible, minimizing delays and maintaining our elite quality standards throughout the project.
"The project was completed with a strong level of quality and consistency across all spaces, reflecting careful execution and attention to detail. The final result successfully balances design, durability, and functionality."
