Valley Paint was brought onto the K9 Resorts Scottsdale project by BCCM Construction as a supplemental painting contractor — brought in specifically to help ensure the project finished on schedule without compromising quality.
The facility is a full-service luxury pet resort, and the finish expectations reflected that. Every surface — from the exterior CMU walls to the interior corridors, suites, reception area, and trim throughout — needed to hold up to a high-traffic hospitality environment while presenting cleanly to guests and their owners.
The scope covered drywall patching, exterior CMU wall painting, interior gypsum walls and ceilings, wood baseboards, crown molding, and hollow metal door frames across the entire facility.

The exterior scope covered the CMU block walls of the building — painted with Sherwin-Williams Exterior Super Paint for a durable, weather-resistant finish suited to Scottsdale's climate. Drywall patching was completed throughout the facility before any interior coating was applied.
Interior walls and ceilings were finished in Sherwin-Williams ProMar 200 Eggshell and Flat respectively — a clean, consistent system that reads well under the facility's lighting and holds up to daily cleaning. Trim, baseboards, and crown molding were finished in ProMar PI Waterbased Alkyd Urethane Semigloss, and all hollow metal door frames were painted to match throughout.
The work was executed alongside other active trades on a tight construction schedule. Coordination with BCCM Construction kept the sequencing clean and the project on track for handover.
