Welcome to our project showcase of the dining room transformation at The Colonnade, a premier retirement community in Surprise, AZ. This project highlights our Tenant Improvement (TI) skills while detailing the painting and wall covering services that went into transforming this central gathering space. We snagged this gig after a little friendly competition with JBJ Construction, and we couldn’t be more excited to spill the beans. When it comes to tenant improvement (TI) projects like the dining room remodel at The Colonnade, we're all about combining functionality with a touch of flair. Nestled within a vibrant retirement community, this interior design project was crafted to uplift the dining experience.
Our expertise in painting and wall covering shines through, transforming the space into a welcoming haven for residents. This TI endeavor showcases our commitment to enhancing living spaces in retirement facilities, ensuring every nook and corner not only meets but exceeds expectations. The Project Journey
Securing the Contract
After multiple revisions and careful fine-tuning of our bid, we were awarded the painting and wall covering scopes for the Sun Health Colonnade Dining Room renovation. Our team was eager to bring a fresh, sophisticated look to this retirement community in Surprise, AZ.
Painting
Our painting efforts aimed to create a bright and warm atmosphere. We used Sherwin-Williams ProMar 200 Eggshell in Amazing Gray for the walls, paired with ProMar 200 Flat in Snowbound for the drywall ceilings. The wood doors and frames received a durable finish with Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series Waterborne Topcoat, also in Snowbound.
Wall Covering
To add texture and warmth to the dining areas, we installed vinyl wallcoverings:
- Pre-Dining & Hallways: MDC Wall Bolta Contract 3 in Enchanted Eggshell.
- Restaurant A, Formal Dining, and Style Lounge: S Harris Tenganan Linen, adding a refined, elegant touch.
Execution and Adaptability
Over the course of four weeks, our team executed multiple change orders to accommodate the client's evolving needs. This flexibility ensured that we met and exceeded client expectations, resulting in a beautifully upgraded dining hall that blends comfort and style for the residents and staff.
