Hayden Ferry Building 2, located at 60 E Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe, AZ 85281, is a Class A commercial office building on the Tempe Town Lake waterfront — a property where the interior finish standard has to match the address. When the building underwent a high-end renovation, the wallcovering scope required a contractor capable of working across multiple spaces with different materials, different installation requirements with a single standard of quality throughout.
Valley Paint was brought in through our trusted partnership with Extreme Drywall Concepts to handle all the wallcovering — lobby, conference room, and restrooms — from prep to the final installation.

Each space in the Hayden Ferry renovation called for a different material and a different approch for installation. In the main lobby, we installed a specialty rivets wallcovering — a textured, industrial-modern finish that set-off the entry experience. For the conference room we installed denim wallcovering, framed by custom wood trim — creating a warm, sophisticated atmosphere that you'd expect from a Class A boardroom. Restroom walls were updated with durable vinyl wall protection, providing a clean, commercial-grade finish in a high-use environment.
Working in partnership with Extreme Drywall Concepts, Valley Paint coordinated the installation sequence across all three spaces to keep the renovation timeline on track. Substrate preparation, seaming, and finish alignment were installed to the same standard in every room — regardless of material.
